We are expanding our team and looking for a Healthcare Payment Integrations Contractor to join our quest. 

You will focus on integrating our payment solutions with our customers’ EHR systems. Your expertise in backend development, coupled with a profound understanding of healthcare payment processes, will propel our capabilities in offering a frictionless payment experience to our users.

Contract-based position - contract will start at 20 hours a week for 2 months with potential to expand depending on product velocity.

Location
This remote opportunity is available to US-based individuals authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas.

 

You can expect to:

  • Develop integrations with healthcare EHR/EMR systems using standards such as EDI X12, HL7 FHIR and other healthcare data exchange mechanisms.
  • Optimize data processing workflows for efficiency and reliability in payment transactions.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to team members, fostering an environment of innovation and technical excellence.

 

You'd be great for this role if you have:

  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare payment integrations, preferably at a patient payment company.
  • Demonstrated expertise in working with healthcare standards like HL7 FHIR, EDI X12, and integrating with EHR/EMR systems.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Strong technical skills and ability to build out the end-to-end integration workflow.
